the girl who got labelled

This is the story of Anupama who is half Indian and half British. she left her country at the age of 10  to live with her maternal grandmother, aunt and cousin.

she is brilliant in mathematics. Initially, she found it really difficult to adjust in a new country but as she is more alike with the Britishers in her physical features, she felt a little comfort. Her relationship with her cousin was growing stronger who is black and is subjected to discrimination. In the school, she found a best friend but the circumstances changes and he has to leave the school.

At another time of her life, she meets him again but the situations for them forced them to get married. She was falling in love with him but he abandoned him.

She received her PhD when she was very young. There she met a man and fall in love and became a single mother. But she had no love for her daughter.

Read this book to know the inspiring journey of Anupama who was deceived by her destiny again and again but she came back stronger. the book will take you a journey of a girl 's life, emotions she goes through and is able to make the tough decision that is required to take.

language is easy and narration is smooth.
