This is the story of love, loss, destiny, friendship, pain and so many other emotions. Shankar is being considered as a bad omen and outcasted from his own village. He lost his father when he was a little child and his mother Mandira also died early. The conversation between mother and son is philosophical, inspiring and beautifully written.

"The strongest of souls and sturdiest of characters emerge from sufferings. You see, even stone when under tremendous pressure, turns into a precious gem. Those who are exposed to such transformation are lucky and you, my love, are a lucky person to undergo this process so early in life."

He developed a good friendship with Javed who has a hard past. The first part of the story revolves around them attempt to win the heart of villagers and karate 's master.

In the second part, Shankar along with Javed is making his name in the politics in the city 

Sanyunkta' s arrival gives a twist of love to the story and the friendship between Sanyunkta, Javed and Shankar are beautifully described but soon their happiness turned into dismay as she was kidnapped.

Were they able to impress villagers? 

Who kidnapped sayunkta? 

Language is easy and narration is smooth. 

The plot is interesting but the story is a little bit stretched. 

The cover is plain, it could be more attractive. 

Overall an interesting book with lots of emotions and adventure.
